Denise I. Griggs is the author and publisher of Glass Tree Books®. She holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from a Christian university and has a background in ministry and education. Her children’s books highlight diversity, genealogy, and biblical stewardship. She has spent 40 years in genealogy research, 30 years in children's ministry, and 20 years teaching African American genealogy in presentations online and at various community events. Denise is also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and a volunteer for the National Park Service (NPS).
